I suppose this doesn't exactly lend credence to the claims of Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity that it was merely a mistake based on faulty intelligence. To conservatives, liberals, and especially libertarians it seems with every passing day the White House administration can't get more disappointing, yet it does.

This is indeed disappointing in the extreme, though far from shocking.

An author claims a source told him X. The source publicly denies he said any such thing. What's mind boggling is there are people who still think the author has any credibility.

I take it a full investigation is under way then ?
