what do you guys think about Spain's Basketball Team stretching their eyes to "look chinese" for an advertisement photo?

It was immature and rude but I don't think they meant any actual harm.

It reminded me of when Prince Henry wore the Nazi uniform to a costume party. He made a fool of himself. Hopefully the Chinese people will ignore their silliness and concentrate on the games.

I dont blame the idiot athletes, I blame Spain's PR guys.

Individual athletes in the U.S. have them. You would think a COUNTRY would have people who handle these photo ops.

I blame them all. The idiot Athletes and the idiot PR guys who allowed the photo op to take place like that. You dont really have to be a rocket scientist to think "hmm I wonder if the chinese might take offense at this?"

People are just too funny sometimes. Least it seems the chinese DID actually ignore it since I haven't heard anything from them in the way of a response.

Maybe they just saw it as their first ( and last) chance to get their picture in the paper.
