Why couldn't Julia Child, who was part of a team of people during WWII
who developed shark repellent, still used by the U.S.Navy.
Also a spy, working for the original CIA or formerly known OSS.
I mean,I feel safe,right this minute,knowing that such a competant
and savvy Chef, known for her dry humor and seeming ease at
preparing difficult dishes with her strict culinary skills, yet seldom failing to
deliever a Piece de resistance of a meal.
I mean,it might sound sappy, but hers was the stuff of greatness.
Sure she was a bit of a character, not no dippy babe, like what
passes today as charcter, standing tall 6'2" and playing basketball
for Smith College.
But,like why couldn't she just have taken a few more minutes and found
some kinda Mod Repellent.Like it's the same family of lurkers, ain't it.?

Um...the same way Bram Stoker used Holy water or a Cross to
ward of Vampires.I believe it wood work wonders.
Don't discount too quickly ...either.
Stoker was an Invalid till starting school at age 7 -- when he made
a complete and astounding recovery. After his recovery he became
a normal young man, even excelling as an athelete named
{ University Athlete } at Trinity College,Dublin.
