First off,I am Bias AGAINST Oprah.I think she found a remarkable
niche for herself as a Female tom,who is very willing,even comfortably
so,with crying right along with Whitey.But it's paid off big time.
I detect a lot of acting in her many voices.She is very adept
at talking the way Middle-class white Mommies,seem to adore.
But I ain't buyin.Never have.
She has her audience trained well.All the Oprah has to do,Literally,
is make a jazzy remark and turn to her beloved audience,and VOILA.
Instant Applause.It's really sappy.Exactly the kind of thing that
defines .... TOUCHY-FEELY.
So,when the Oprah decided to sternly DENY the Republican V.P.
choice an opportunity on her basically ALL-Female Venue,she Declined.
Stating that she will not allow her Show to be a platform for any
Political Candidate.Of course,that was Pre-Obamamania and his
mounting,then surmounting lead in his Campaign.
How convienient for the Oprah,to now discount the very thing that
has gained her Wealth and Fame.That being Whitey.
For w/o Whitey,I venture to say,the Oprah would have amounted
to little more than a - Hairdo of the Week -. Or a T-shirt.
Just a flash in the pan,as was told to - Basquiat - {1996}
by Benny Dalmau,a seeming knowledgable and apparent muse of
things that even graffiti can't hold a candle to.
I wonder if Ms.Winfrey has finally pulled the rug from under her
Fame.She'll now,have to make a very serious choice.
Admit that she used whites,for her own profit and career,or
stick to her guns,and ACT,like she cares for both,her New Man,a
Black,and her adoring audience of mainly White females.
She can't have it both ways.She's finally stepped in her own,
puddle of disingenuousness.
