Fear sometimes is not rational. That is why runs on the banks could crash the good banks.

I went out this morning (Saturday) to fill my wife's car. At least a dozen local stations had no gasoline, only diesel. A few others had premium unleaded only, and that's what I fed the car - at $4.39/gl. Absolute robbery, IMO.

Happens every few years.

In the end, we all have the gasoline we need, and the oil companies just get some extra cash out of the whole deal. God love them, they work so hard to get us the gasoline we need for our cars, planes, and motorcycles. Why shouldn't they make some extra money off of this whole Hurricane Ike deal?
