...Thank God it's over! After hearing everything from all the famous players that have performed there, to the rich sentimental value of the stadium itself, to the guy sitting in Seat 5, Row 24, Section 109, who's trouser stain resembles Babe Ruth....I'm about ready to, I dunno, crack some skulls or something!
Well, at least football was on today.

Yes, not only does ESPN ask us and then tell us that Yankee Stadium is THE greatest place ever... but it will also cause a Capitalist-esque touch to the MLB.
The new Yankee Stadium will have 800 seats priced in the $2500 range.
By comparison, the most expensive ticket you can buy at an Indians game is $85.
The CHEAPEST ticket to get into Yankee stadium will probably be MORE than the most EXPENSIVE ticket at Progressive Field in Cleveland.
All that extra revenue... and no rules to make things fair...
Word is that the Yankees are prepared to offer C.C. Sabathia 30 million PER YEAR.. GUARANTEED.
